The title, "Pure Religion is This . . .?", was chosen at a time when things felt crazy and we knew God was working in mighty ways to refine us. It also plays into the fact that I tend to question everything. I am in no way saying that we have mastered "pure religion." It's more a chance to document my journey of faith (and sometimes seemingly analyzing myself out of faith).
The title is based off the verse:
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27 NIV
